1971-1977 Mazda RX-2, RX-3, the Clymer manual & lubrication, maintenance
This chapter deals with the need to keep properly Mazda maintenance. It contains a summary of maintenance intervals and procedures in table format. Table 1 covers 1971-73 cars; Table 2 covers a list of Recommended service schedule in 1974 the 1980's. inspections that will be carried out easily with every stop for gas, and those who have made the miles or at certain intervals. The last part of the chapter contains a tune-up for the procedure, which will simplify and organize the process.
REGULAR INSPECTIONS
As follows, if he has done at each stop for gas.
1. check engine oil level dipstick (Figure 1). (F) to the mark, as appropriate, to the Top grade recommended in table 3.
2. check the coolant. The radiator should be filled and in the expansion tank is half full.
Note: the Cooling fluid level must be checked when the engine is cold. If that doesn't work, put a rag on a radiator or expansion tank cap when removing to prevent burns.
3. check the level of windshield washer fluid tank. Is to be considered as a whole.
4. check the Sub-Zero starts to help the fluid (if any). The Aquarium is located above the control device (Figure 2). Where appropriate, complemented by a blend of 90% of the ethylene glycol-based anti-freeze and 10% water. Inside the container, make sure that the hose is submerged in the liquid. Note: the/allowed to take the car dealer to fill the tank is emptied, and the pump priming.
